Platform

How the GovCon Recon Engine works.

The platform is designed to evaluate federal opportunities in minutes instead of hours, connecting intake, contract resolution, document intelligence, financial context, and executive output in one system.

Workflow

Input once. Resolve the full opportunity picture.

Enter a SAM.gov URL, opportunity ID, solicitation number, or contract number. The system ingests the opportunity, resolves the incumbent contract, downloads and scans attached PDFs, pulls spending data, and returns a complete triage report.

  • Cross reference opportunity details against SAM.gov and USASpending.gov to identify discrepancies between sources.
  • Resolve contract PIIDs from solicitation documents automatically when predecessors are referenced in the package.
  • Pull full spending ledgers, obligations, outlays, burn rate, and period of performance context when a predecessor contract is identified.
  • Return a structured Go or No Go recommendation backed by evidence and data provenance.

Operational characteristics

  • Multi tenant architecture
  • Role based access
  • Real time queue visibility
  • Printable one page gate review briefs
  • Organization level rules override user preferences
Intake layer

Nightly ingestion and inbox routing.

A nightly pipeline ingests active SAM.gov opportunities and routes them into the inbox based on NAICS codes, PSC codes, keywords, and compliance profile. Opportunities that fail the organization’s eligibility wall are filtered out before they ever appear in the queue. Morning Briefing shows what arrived overnight.

Control layer

Admin and user settings.

Admins configure the company’s socioeconomic status, contract vehicles held, and compliance blockers. Individual users set their own discovery preferences and compliance tolerance. Organization level blocks override user settings.
